Who am I?

Postdoctoral Researcher at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and a member of the research group LAD – Digital Artefacts Lab in the same institution. My expertise is related to understanding the connections between digital games consumption, production, and everyday political conversation. Currently, I conduct postdoctoral research titled “Made in Brazil: mapping practices and cultures game development in Brazil” aiming to provide a thorough overview of the politics of production that take place in the country. The research builds upon my PhD thesis, “Gaming Politics: Gender and sexuality on Earth and beyond”, where I developed a theory of configurative dynamics to analyze the diverse manifestations of the “political” in videogames through a case study of the Mass Effect franchise
